Description
In this open level class, Emma integrates elements of Qigong and Vinyasa Yoga to create an awareness-based class that balances softness and strength. You will tap into subtle energy through gentle qigong movements before moving into a dynamic vinyasa flow to connect body and mind. Join Emma for a journey where energy finds form, balance dances with movement and your inner harmony is uncovered

Pilates

Pilates is an approach to whole body conditioning that targets the deep postural muscles, building strength from inside out. It is suitable for everyone irrespective of fitness level, experience or age. Pilates focuses on improving alignment, breathing and core stability. It minimises the risk of injuries and promotes great body awareness through the development of a mind-body connection.

FLOOR BARRE

Floor Barre is a total body strength and conditioning workout with emphatic focus on strength, stability and mobility. This class is based very much on the principles of Pilates and dance, Various props such as dumb bells and bender balls will be used to better challenge and stimulate the body in ways that few other workouts could. The class is carried out to music and this is a suitable and very effective workout for everyone at any point of your fitness journey.
 
– no prior dance experience is required to thoroughly benefit and enjoy this class.

Meditation

Meditation is a state of deep peace attained when the mind is silent or focussed one one simple thing and is present in the moment.

 

CORE POWER

Core Power focuses on strengthening the core muscles by infusing flowing movement, breathwork and postures which activate and condition the abdominal muscles. Expect to also enjoy some juicy deep stretching and strengthening of the whole body in this class.

PROGRAMME

NON-LINEAL MOVEMENT

The Non Linear Movement Method is a somatic movement practice that releases, soothes, sensitises and helps us to deepen into our vitality, joy and pleasure. The practice has been developed over the past 20 years by world renowned embodiment teacher Michaela Boehm.

 

Non linear movement works to unwind us back into our natural, joyful, bodily state.
